Capabilities of Building Standalone Simulation Applications in App Designer with Simulink Compiler

For those who do not know, MATLAB released Simulink Compiler with 20a release which helps to build and deploy standalone simulation applications of Simulink models. For further details, see the link below:

I wonder to what extent the capability of Simulink Compiler goes. For instance, my purpose is to build a standalone simulation application which consists of Serial Receive and Serial Configuration blocks. Is it possible to do so with the current capability of Simulink Compiler?
