Why does mixed signal blockset works so long?

Why does mixed signal blockset works so long? I'm trying to repeat this example: https://www.mathworks.com/videos/pll-loop-parameter-estimation-68728.html.
It takes 2 hours, but it still counts. There is no information in time scope, plots are absent.
