My simulink model involves transfer functions which have their numerator/denominator coefficients as variables loaded from the workspace. Several of these loaded parameters involve the underscore '_' sign. However the simulink block interpreter (when the block is viewed from outside) interprets the underscore as a subscript. (Please refer to the example in the picture below). How to make the transfer function block show its numerator parameter as Ki_bess (as given in Numerator coefficients section of Block Parameters: Transfer Fcn) instead of the misleading name displayed inside the corresponding block Transfer Fcn?

Hi, this is a known bug in R2017a release and has been fixed in the later version. You may upgrade to R2017b or later versions of MATLAB to resolve the issue.
