The NATURAL log function in MATLAB is just log, thus log to the base e.
If you want to compute the log base 10, you use log10.

Actually, that is NOT the same as what was asked.

how to represent ln in matlab?

You want the cube of the sqrt of 0.18? Or do you want to raise 3 to that power, as you wrote? In that case,
3^sqrt(0.18)
works just fine. I'm not sure why it is a problem.
If your question is really how to compute the cube of the square root as you said but not what you wrote, that is even easier. Look at it like this. What is sqrt(0.18)?
sqrt(0.18) = 0.18^(1/2)
What is the cube of that?
0.18^(1/2) * 0.18^(1/2) * 0.18^(1/2)
Which of course, is just
0.18^(3/2)
Or, you could write
sqrt(0.18)^3
Finally, the ln function, the natural log, is written as log in MATLAB, the log to the base e.
So what is your real question?
