Crash dump file generated each time I close Matlab

I just swtiched from Windows to MacOS last week, but each time I close Matlab, a crash dump file is generated in my MacOS home directory. It seems that those crash dump files have very similar content that looks like the text copied below. Can I ignore those crash dump files?

I was told on Tuesday by the Mathworks technical support that the development team "is still investigating the root cause of the crash". I suggest you submit a ticket to the technical support hoping that the issue will get more awareness as more people submitting similar tickets.

The support team was able to resolve my issue today, they provided a patch that has solved the issue. I would definitely try to get support as this is a bug in their software. If you can’t get through, I could try and send you the path files but I’m not sure if they were at all customized for my system.

I was also provided with two patch files by the technical support. I asked them about the cause of the issue and whether any update affecting all MacOS Matlab user will be released and I have just got the following reply:

"This was a bug with some of the interfacing libraries which is patched now. We are qualifying this fix for MacOS Catalina and you will most likely see a fix in upcoming updates which will affect all Mac users."

I was provided with two patch files by the technical support too, which solved the crash dump file issue. In my case, when I open matlab with the patched files, the live scripts and live functions do not work any more.

I will wait for the upcoming updates and report back here.
