Hi,
I received data set from somewhere and it is matrix of uint16 (spectrogram). I researched and i couldn't find myself a satisfactory answer. Are the unit16 images an rgb images? Is there a way to determine that?

No, it doesnot mean that, this mean data types
Check the following:
[r c ch_num]=size(image);
If ch_num=3, you can say, it be RGB Image
or other ways
if size(image,3)==3

as i said i got it in matrix and i can tell its not 3-dimensional matrix. I would just go with 1
