Simulink modeling from the command line

How can I run two simulink models with inf simulation time at the same time from the command line?

you can use following commands:
open_system({ 'model1name', 'model2name' });
set_param('model1name', 'StopTime', 'inf')
set_param('model2name', 'StopTime', 'inf')

However, you cannot sim() them both at the same time and have them both running. In order to do that, see https://www.mathworks.com/help/simulink/ug/running-parallel-simulations.html
