I'm trying to create a gas (air) reservoir that has a constant temperature. In other words, no matter what the temperature of the air flowing into the reservoir is, the air in the reservoir should remain at the set temperature. I basically wan't the reservoir to represent the atmosphere. As simple as i'm sure this is, as a new simulink/simscape user, I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I really don't known what's your progress with your task, but first of all there are many ways to resolve your regulation part of a model. You can use a stateflow inside the simulink (there are some tutorials about fans and cooling I think online) and using simulink basically. Then what do you want a continuous control to using some kind of a PI controller or a something like hysteresis controller. https://www.mathworks.com/help/stateflow/examples/bang-bang-control-using-temporal-logic.html Here is an example with a stateflow but I'm sure you'll figure it out in a simulink too. Good luck!
