How do i keep matlab from poping up figures on desktops that matlab is not running on?

2 views (last 30 days)
I have some long running matlab processes and once i have executed them on one desktop i switch to another desptop to do other work and when the matlab process i started on the first desktop starts to plot the figure windows will popup on my current desktop. This should never happen. the figure should present thenselves on the desktop the matlab process was started on.
So how does one get this to work correctly?

Do you mean you're working with a dual monitor and you want the figures to only appear on one monitor?

Yes i'm working with dual monitors, No on wanting them to appear on just one monitor. I'm using Windows 10 enterprise but this also has to do with any of the linux(s). You can have multiple desktops in both Win10 and Linux and one can change from desktop to desk top and have different things working in each. This is what i'm refering to.
