How can I pass a value (say power magnitude) from a discrete event driven model to a time driven PV model using Simevents?

I have installed the Simevents toolbox in my matlab 2017b for building a communication model and passing a valuw (say power magnitude) from a discrete event driven model to a time driven PV matlab model. Can anybody help me to understand how can I do the simulation?

Hi Teresa,
Hope you are doing well. I am a beginner in learning how to use Simevents. I watched the video tutorial "Modeling Network Effects on Distributed Control Systems with SimEvents". Is there any chance that you can send me the 4 matlab models that have been used in the tutorial for explaining the effect of CAN bus communications? Kindly let me know.
Kind Regards,

If you use "seExampleCanBus" at the command line, it opens an example of a communication model where values are passed from the discrete-event model to the time-driven model using Simulink Functions. Can you take a look at this model and let me know whether this approach would work for you?
Thanks,
Teresa
