How to Find Area of CFD Spray Velocity Image?

Hallo Image experts, I am working on a project and i need to Calculate the area of the Colored Image(See attached File "Image_Spray"), it is The CFD velocity Image. and i want to roughfly Calculate the area of it See Image name "Area.png" with red Border. i tried to convert to black white and calculate the are but it was wrong answer. Please help me out. thank You.
