Video to frame conversion

I am trying to convert a video file to image files using readFrame function. I was successful in extracting frames from video but each frame the halves were interchanged as shown in figure (2). Fig. 1 is a snapshot of video. Can anybody please help me with this?. My code is:

close all
video_input =VideoReader('single.avi');
vid = readFrame(video_input);
imshow(vid)

YOu might be checking wrong frames.....check once.

Thanks for the response. Sorry. I couldnt understand. Do you mean that there is a frame in the video which looks like figure 2. In that case, I am sure that there are no frames similar to fig.2 because the faded white spikes that we see on the left corner in fig1 doesnt change its position but in the frame that is extracted it comes to the middle part which indicates that every frame is getting split and is interchanged
