Matlab sFTP connection issues

Trying to conncect to Hive using Matlab and ODBC, was given a Java SFTP example, does anyone have any information on how to accomplish this stuff on MAtlab? I've tried some stuff on the file exchange to no avail. Using https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/35409-ssh-sftp-scp-for-matlab-v2 to set up connection.
