I am unable to open a CAD file with ".x_t" extension in Simscape Multibody. I am trying to import the CAD geometry using "FILE SOLID". Is there any other way to import CAD geometry in Simscape Multibody ?
Error message shows : The parameter File Name is an invalid file. Error reading file : "file name"
Kindly help.

Dose the “.x_t” file transform from a ".sldasm" file? I encounter the same problem now.

Hi Shyam,
The File Solid block can read Parasolid files, which typically have the extension x_t. Perhaps the file you have is invalid. If you share the file with us, perhaps we can tell you what the problem is.

Hi Steve,
The file is converted to .xml and .STEP, and now we are able to read the file content.
Thanks for providing the information.
We will update if we find any further difficulty.
Shyam
