Why is rotate3d not added by default in spectrogram plots in 2018b?

Hi,
I tried 2018b release recently and I noted that there are some changes in the usage of visualization tools. For instance pan tool is selected by default in 2d plots and rotate3d tool is the default selection for 3d plots. Which is quite useful in general. However when I generate a spectrogram (which is a 3d function plot) rotate3d is not selected by default and due to the new interface the shortcut is not there anymore. So I need to go to Tools > rotate3d, which is not that difficult, but i think this is overlooked in the release. Is there a specific reason for this which I am missing?
Have a nice day.
