how to connect microphone with a digital filter in a simulink??

Please just help me with a simple example to connect a microphone with digital filter in simulink. I am designing a low frequency digital reciever. I have simulated with sine wave but i have no idea about the microphone . And what type of microphone might be suitable for low frequency communication??

How low of a frequency were you thinking of? For example were you thinking of communicating via seismic P-waves ?
I'm trying to build it in low frequency amateur band (2200m). It's my Final Year Project. May I know, how can i connect or interface microphone with other digital component in simulink (a simple example).
2200m is 136.269 kHz. That is higher frequency than most ultrasonic microphones, most of which appear to end off about 100 kHz. I think I did find at least one model of sensor that could handle at least 150 kHz though.
136 kHz is considered to be part of the LF electromagnetic band, which one would detect with an antenna rather than with a microphone.

Use From Wave Device in the Signal Processing Blockset - Platform Specific I/O - Windows (WIN32) to input signal. From output this block You can use a Filter in this Blockset.
