I want to know whether the Microsoft Access databases are not recognized by MATLAB R 2015b? I ran the Access database with MATLAB R 2009 and it worked well. What I have to do if I want to run the Access database with R 2015b.

I "know nuthink!" about MS Access per se, but you might check out if ODBC Microsoft Access gives you an joy...

Just a note to confirm: you are indeed talking about Access databases and not about the Matlab .mat file?

You can, I presume, still use the previous code with prior release, correct?
In the looking I did, it doesn't appear that MS Access is specifically mentioned in the database TB doc any longer.
I suggest a call to Sales at the "Contact Us" link to confirm what is in the product by release if can't find that information readily at the Documentation link for your release.

You can install many releases; all you need to do is to create a unique installation location -- I just simply name the root directory MLR2017, say (to date I've not installed anything but 'b' releases so haven't bothered at that sublevel). I have three releases installed and working presently with no issues.

To clear up any further ambiguity: those unique installation folders don't have to be on the same drive. You might have issues installing to removable drives, but I never tested that.
