How to apply high resolution on face image dataset??

I have a dataset which contains 48x48 grayscale images. I want to apply high-resolution on the whole dataset. Please guide me how to apply high resolution on all of the images and then save them in a folder. I am new to MATLAB, please guide me.

I mean to say that I want to improve the quality of my images by high resolution. I am using the Facial Expression Recognition dataset for FER problem.
