Error when attempting to run MicrosoftHPCServerSetup.bat on cluster
Hi, I am in the process of setting up a Matlab DCS install on a Windows 2008 HPC cluster. When I try to run C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2012a\toolbox\distcomp\bin\MicrosoftHPCServerSetup.bat\" -cluster I get: Could not find C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2012a\toolbox\distcomp\bin\\MicrosoftHPCServerSetup.xml
I have read about a possible corrupt install but I get the same message when I try to run it on another node.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated Best wishes Jimmy

Hi James,
Yes, that file is supposed to be there. It is part of the installation for MATLAB Distributed Computing Server (MDCS). Did you actually install MDCS, or just the Parallel Computing Toolbox?
Thanks, Elwin

Hi Elwin,
Realised I was using the wrong installation of MATLAB!
Sorted now.
Thanks again for your help.

Hi James,
Can you tell me if this file actually exists in your installation: C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2012a\toolbox\distcomp\bin\\MicrosoftHPCServerSetup.xml
The MicrosoftHPCServerSetup.bat file is complaining that it can't find it.
Thanks, Elwin

Hi Elwin,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. No that file does not reside in that location, should it be there by default? It is a 64bit install.
Thanks Jimmy
