Should I use constant torque or constant back-emf mode on DC Machine block while designing an automobile starter?

I am trying to design a permanent magnet automobile starter using the DC Machine blockset in simulink. Now I cannot understand weather I should go for constant torque mode or constant back-emf mode on the block set.
