How to create a Hyperlink to state in a stateflow???

I used open_system() command to open a stateflow in model. But, if I try to open a state in stateflow it doesnt work. It throws up an error that the link is missing in the model.

By hyperlink you mean to highlight a particular element in your stateflow model.
if yes, then here is an example to highlight a state in stateflow:
open the model and then try following commands
root = sfroot;
model = root.find('-isa','Simulink.BlockDiagram');
chart = model.find('-isa','Stateflow.Chart');
state=chart.find('-isa','Stateflow.State','Name',<enter name of the state>);
state.highlight;
