2D matrix plane from a 3D matrix.

I want to get a plane from a 3D matrix as a 2D matrix. i have tried using these commands but it doesn't works.
P = A ( 10, :, : ) . I want the plane y-z of A matrix and save it as a 2D 'P' Matrix.

P = squeeze(A ( 10, :, : )) ;
