I just updated to Matlab 2016b in macOS EI captain to Matlab 2017b in maxOS High Sierra 10.13.3.
If I directly start matlab from the Application folder, double-clicking a m-file won't open a new Matlab instance. However, if I start Matlab from a terminal, double-clicking a m-file will always open a new Matlab instance. I search a little bit and all answers are related to Windowns. Not sure how to fix this...
