how we start synchronous motor by using frequency changer and timer circuit

this is santosh, actually I have a thought on self starting on synchronous motor that is with out changing constructional features and with out using drives like dc motors or slip ring motors, to start synchronous motor for starting purpose frequency changer is used. the principle of synchronous motor is magnetic locking. the locking caused by either rotor pole speed increasing. but in my thought, at starting rotor is stable and that time the stator speed is very fast so the magnetic locking is not done, since synchronous motor is not run. to lock the stator and rotor poles if stator speed is decreased by decreasing the frequency to 16 1/4 hz at the time of starting the locking is easily done and this frequency now slowly increasing as steps or random up to our required frequency or speed. to changing of frequency frequency changer is used and for time requirement a timer or mp is used. frequency changing time is very less in seconds like 5 secondsis enough to strt and stop. this is my thought. is this thought ok or not? if any objuction plz send your fullfillments
