2D Spatial interpolation between two matrices

13 views (last 30 days)
Hi all,
I have a matrix V of 252x250 values with its corresponding spatial 2D coordinates (two matrices X1 and Y1 with 252x250 values each). Basically, I can see V spatially using pcolor(X1, Y1, V). I created a new coordinate system (two matrices X2 and Y2 with 252x250 values each) which is slightly different from X1 and Y1 (a little bit smaller). How can I interpolate V to this new coordinate system (X2, Y2)?
Thank you.

Anyone kindly has an answer for this? Interp2 does not work. Thanks a lot

See if the interp2 (link) function will do what you want.
