working with matlab in two different machines

1 view (last 30 days)
I am working with a matlab license in my office. Since I had mathwork account prior using a licensed version, I chose to continue using the licensed version also with the same account. Now I am not able to download simulink coder even in a computer with a valid matlab license because Matlab does not allow my mathwork account to be associated with the license that I am using in the office. Please give me a solution. Now I have installed a trial version of Matlab in my personal computer with the same account. Is it possible to have two licences associated with a single mathwork account?

You should contact Mathworks for free installation support.
It is possible for two licenses to be associated with a single mathworks account, but I do not know if it is possible for two different organizations to be associated with the same mathworks account.
But your issue at the moment is that you want one license to be associated with two mathworks account: you want it associated with your work account and you want it associated with your personal account. The administrative contact and technical contact for your work account have control over who is permitted to associate with the work license.
If you have already been authorized by your technical or admin contact, then you can log in to Mathworks with your work account and request the download, and you would be able to proceed as far as installing it. However, if your personal account is not authorized for that version of MATLAB Coder then you would need to activate against your work license.

Its the other way round. I have only one mathworks account and I will be working with two different licences, one in my university and one a personal one which I intend to buy as a student. Even in my univ machine in which a licensed version of matlab is installed, Matlab does'nt allow me to download and install simulink coder since I connect for help and support even in the university with my own Mathworks account that I created years ago....

Contact Mathworks for free installation support. The volunteers who answer questions here do not have access to the license database.
