How do I play a sound in response to streaming external data?

I am receiving external data from a force place and when the Fz signal is recognised (above 5Hz) I want it to trigger a sound (or at worst the beep function).
Is there a way to do this?
Currently I have Matlab linked up to Qualisys Track Manager with integrated force plate. I have attached the Client setup document so you can see what can of data integration is used already.
