y = dpskmod(x,M,phaserot)

Hi, I want to give binary values o and 1 as an input into this function (y = dpskmod(x,M,phaserot). But, it only takes integer like M=4. where, M=0,1,2,3. Is there anyway so that, I can give binary number instead of integer in this function. Or Could anybody provide me the code for differential phase shift keying.
