I would like to recreate block diagram in simulink and be able to change the variables. any help would be appreciated.

Hi Barre,
I understand that you have a block diagram that you would like to recreate in Simulink.
This block diagram can certainly be recreated in Simulink. I suggest you start with 'Transfer Function' blocks and 'Sum' blocks, to match the transfer functions and sums in the diagram. I am not sure what the 'F' blocks in your diagram refer to, but if they are simply gains, then you can use a 'Gain' block to represent each one. With all of these blocks, you can change the variables as needed to fit your system. Here are some documentation and example links to get you started:

1) Run the examples (1-4) on MATLAB and record their output. 2) Run the examples (4-8) in MATLAB live script to get the simplified Transfer function. Then create block diagrams of both the initial system and its simplified version in SIMULINK. Analyze their step response to verify that the simplified block diagram accurately represents the original system's behaviour. 3) Reduce the following diagrams and make a transfer function. Then create block diagrams of its simplified version in SIMULINK and visualize their step response. 3.1: 𝐺_1 = (𝑠 + 1)/(𝑠 + 2), 𝐺_2 = 𝑠/(𝑠 + 4), 𝐺_3 = 2, 𝐺_4 = 𝑠/2, 𝐻_1= 𝑠/𝑠(𝑠 + 2) , 𝐻_2 = 𝑠/((𝑠 + 2) )
