How do I save a Simulink project, with many levels of Sub-systems, so that when I next open the project all subsystems are automatically zoomed to fit the window?

I have a Simulink project with many levels of sub-system hierarchy.

I notice that each time I open the model the view of each subsystem is not necessarily preserved.

Specifically, if I press spacebar for a subsystem (zoom to fit screen) before closing, then re-open, the zoom to fit screen is not preserved. I cannot figure out what controls this behavior. Please advise.
