Symmetrical Components in matlab

I have the student version of matlab. I am attempting to run and example problem from my text book with the following code:
V012 = [.6 90 1.0 30 ,8 -30];
Vabc= sc2abc(V012); %unbalanced phasor to symm components Vabcp= rec2pol(Vabc) %rectangular to polar
However, I get an error message: Undefined function 'sc2abc' for input arguments of type 'double'. Error in hw4_2 (line 44) Vabc= sc2abc(V012); %unbalanced phasor to symm components
I am following the example in the book as it is written. Is there something that I am leaving out? It seems like matlab does not recognize the command, but according to my text it should return the symmetrical components. Does the student version just not support this function? Thanks.

The function sc2abc is not a matlab function. unless you add that function, you will not get answer. The function sc2abc may be given in book, save that function in matlab if given in book.
