I want to use DCT to create feature vectors for gray images and then use it for pattern recognition using neural network. Is there any example or a guide that may help me? thank you

Step 1:
Read the image.
Step 2:
call dct() on the image.
Step 3:
Use reshape() on the result of step 2, to turn the results of dct( ) into a vector
Step 4:
Use the vector as input to a neural network.
