Porous media reconstruction using a single 2D image

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi there,
I am a beginners using matlab and meeting a problem on 3D reconstruction. Some literature showed that a 3D porous media can be reconstructed by a single 2D image using autocorrelation or spatial correlation. Thus, I want to reconstruct a 3D porous media using a single 2D image in matlab. Could anyone help me with issue?
The 2D image is shown above.
Many thanks,
Rick

Thanks for your answer. However, the code provided above only shows a 2D surface instead of a 3D geometry. What I need is to reconstruct a 3D geometry of porous media using a single 2D image.
