If you own a current license then you can download any previous release from https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/select_release?mode=gwylf in the "Download Earlier Release" column to the right.
The only way to get a trial copy of an earlier release is to go through Mathworks Sales.

https://www.mathworks.com/downloads/ and select the MATLAB version in the "select release" portion near the top left.
For R2014a or later, first download the appropriate MATLAB product installer; run the installer and mark Simbiology for installation. This assumes that you already have a Simbiology license for a release at least as new as the release you are trying to install for.
For R2013b or earlier, the download page will have a seperate download button for each product.
