Hi!
I am currently trying to work with the Embedded Coder. My question is - what exactly is [in] a Hardware Support Package?
What is the difference between a .zip Archive file containing Support Package files and .mlpkginstall files. .zip files look like if you could see all the Contents of the Support Package, but I only found one example for a custom Arduino Uno target. The .mlpkginstall seem to be small files that contain minimal info for the supportPackageInstaller within Matlab.
Unfortunately I cannot Experiment with the supportPackageInstaller as most Support packages are not installable under Linux 64bit and further I am facing Network Problems/ Internet Connection Problems when logging in/ downloading from Mathworks, probably due to wrong Proxy settings.
Could you please explain what needs to be defined in a Hardware Support Package? And how does it work?
Thanks.

Word for word "most support packages are not installable" is my problem also regarding MATLAB hardware support packages for Linux 64bit. Only 8 of 72 packages are installable. I need Raspberry Pi and RTL-SDR hardware support packages, but unfortunately they are not installable on Ubuntu 14.04 or perhaps any version of Linux.
