Copy figure to word 2013

My procedure for exporting figures to Word has been to use the figure 'Copy Figure' command in the figure. I then create a text box in word, place the cursor on the first line and paste the figure in. The top of the figure would become aligned with the top of the text box. I could then resize the figure as necessary.
Just recently (not sure if an update has occurred), when I paste a figure, the top of the figure is outside the text box. The bottom of the figure is aligned with the paragraph mark as before, but the paragraph marker has not been moved down to align the top of the figure with the top of the text box.
I also notice that the Text Wrapping options are no longer available on the pasted figure like they had been.
I use the text box so that the figure and caption are contained in the text box and move together. Otherwise confusion reigns.

Thanks for the help,
Dan
