Return not working when debugging?

It seems as though when I type in return for 2015b in mac it does not continue with the code. Is anyone else having this problem?

I have the same problem. When in keyboard mode and I type "return", keyboard mode is not exited. I get:
>> keyboard
K>> return
K>>
whereas it should be
>> keyboard
K>> return

I have this trouble too, on linux. Anyone found a solution? Except using the dbcont command

Why can you not use dbcont if that is exactly its purpose?

I found this same issue when I recently upgraded to 2016a. While 'return' during debugging would resume execution in older versions of Matlab, it appears that this syntax is no longer supported. You can use 'dbcont' instead: dbcont
