How to use Matlab to calculate the huge matrix?

%If a matrix is:A=rand(dim),where the dim=millions and millions.How to caculate the matrix like this?
dim=5e8;% or 5e9,5e10
A=rand(dim);
B=A*A; % the next are operating to the matrix

5e10 ... that's about 17 zetta bytes ... or 17 giga-tera bytes. This is WAY WAY beyond what you can expect with any computer. You need to re-structure your problem.

Have some methods to restructure a huge matrix(dim=1e8) to a lower one?
What will you do with the B matrix once you have it?
