The data time and amplitude values are in an excel file. From that I wanted to plot PSD, Y-axis amplitude. X-axis frequency.How can I do in this in Matlab?

try this...
a=xlsread('test.xls','a1:a30');%time values
b=xlsread('test.xls','b1:b30');%amplitude values
plot(1/a,b);
test.xls is the excel file from which you have to read the data. you also have to specify the range of the data
