Clarification about wnoise command in MATLAB

2 views (last 30 days)
I need to understand the difference between this code
snr = 10;
init = 2055615866;
[yref,y] = wnoise(1,10,snr,init);
and this code
snr = 10;
init = 2055615866;
xx = wnoise(1,10);
xx_n = awgn(xx,snr,'measured',init);
I guess it should be the same but these two codes give two different result.
which code is more accurate or better to use?
