connecting to bloomberg api

latest instructions i have seen to connect to bloomberg api are outdated (Why do I get the error "Please verify that blpapi3.jar is included on the MATLAB javaclasspath" when using the &quo... - MATLAB Answers - MATLAB Central) last updated 2025-06-26 by matlab support. For instance... the bloomberg api download specified in that post doesn't exit any more. There is a new java download for windows, but it does not include blpapi3.jar. Please advise. I have contacted bloomberg. They are useless, and consider this a matlab question. Thank you.

I guess I misunderstood. The thread I referenced in the post above was answered by “Mathworks Support Team - Staff.” I’m asking the identical question, but updated. For instance, the instructions given by the staff say to go to WAPI on the Bloomberg terminal. WAPI has been decommissioned. I thought this forum (users or mathworks staff) could provide updated information.

You can hope to get an answer from the forum, but it is unlikely in your case.
The Mathworks Support Team frequently posts Questions and Answers here in the forum (where the questions usually stem from the Support Team, too), but in general does not answer to user requests directly.
You have to contact the Mathworks Support Team under
and get a ticket.
