Hi,
I have a couple of questionsregarding the MATLAB Assiciate certification exam.
  1. Is it mandatory to own a MATLAB license to appear for the exam?
  2. What is the fees for the exam?

"Fees are dependent on exam location and currency."
But surely can allow as how they are "in the neighborhood of $XX USD"?
I have absolutely no interest nor need, but I can surely see it being frustrating for those who are interested but can't find out anything at all about what they might be expected to pay.
Is the AI 'bot in the ballpark at rougnly $50 or is it closer to the $600 I've seen elsewhere?

Ok! That means I will have to first create the webaccesser account then only I will be able to get the further details like fees etc.
Thanks for answering!

https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/2049937-what-is-the-price-of-the-matlab-and-simulink-associate-and-professional-exams says you have to ask the vendor of the exams and the link requires you to create a user id with them before getting anywhere. The AI 'bot says it's about a $45 fee, but that should be taken for what it is, not fact.
The exam is only a multiple-choice test; it does not use MATLAB itself at all so whether one has a current license is immaterial.

No problem, glad to at least try to help. I can't fathom why Mathworks can't/won't/doesn't supply a nominal fee structure; sure there may be a variable exchange rate for foreign registrants, but they certainly ought to establish and provide a base rate structure. This is "just plain rude!".
