How to read Arduino Output in Simulink by realtime?

8 views (last 30 days)
Hi, I want to read Arduino Output by real time in Simulink.
I have program to read digital input from IR Proximity Sensor in Arduino IDE. Then the output from program is the one I want to read through Simulink. Is there any idea?
I have read and search for this topic, the current solution is Copy and Paste the serial monitor, but it can't be done in simulink.

Hi Christian,
You can try to get send data through the digital pin of the board and capture it in simulink using "Run on hardware" mode.
Checkout the following video, to learn more about real-time acquisition in arduino using simulink:
Hope it helps!

Hello there, I have already try this method.
Actually, what I need is to read the read after signal processing in arduino.
Digital input from IR Proximity as the input for tracking rotation speed of motor.
What I want to read is the speed result after calculation in Arduino.
