Simulink Scope Copy To Clipboard Colours Not Inverting (transparent background not working)

7 views (last 30 days)
Ive upgraded from Matlab version 2023a to 2023b, and now 2024a.
Since the update Ive noticed that Scope copy to clipboard dosent invert the image like it used to do.
The following pictures are if they are pasted into a Word doc.
RemovedBackground.png (2023a)
WithBackground.png (2023b and newer)
Simulink ScopeScreenshot.png (Scope Screenshot)
So, the Simulink ScopeScreenshot.png shows how the signal looks in the scope. Then If pasted in, for example, a Word doc the colours are inverted (the blue signal colour turns into orange, white text to black text etc) but the 2023b and newer dosent remove the black background while seemingly successfuly inverting all the other colours.
The Scope block is not modified, from standard the only things chaged are the enabling of x and y axis labels
Thanks

Hi Nlls,
I see you want to copy the plot from the scope block to word doc but couldn't get background changed to white when copied to the clipboard.
I could not reproduce the problem at my end. But, I have a workaround for the problem. You can manually change the axes background color to white by right clicking the plot and selecting "style" option and editing the axes color property. You can also do other changes to the plot like, changing color of lines, labels, grid line etc.
And now to preserve the colors as it is so that you can get the exact figure as you see in the scope in the work doc you can check the "Preserve colors for copy to clipboard" checkbox inside the "style" dialog box.
To know more about "style" properties refer to the following documentation:
Hope this Helps!
