I am working on a MATLAB license with a limited number of seats. If I have multiple instances running on my computer, does this count for multiple seats?
Thanks!

Hi emma,
Even though you open multiple sessions of MATLAB on a single computer, it is still seen as one seat only.
Regardless of license type, launching multiple sessions of MATLAB on the same machine under the same user account does not consume multiple seats of MATLAB or associated toolboxes. This applies to running multiple instances of the same release of MATLAB, as well as running different releases of MATLAB.
I hope it helps!
