Redirecting you back to the application, Thingtweet and twitter

It is not possible to link ThingTweet with Twitter. When I authorize through "Authorize ThingTweet to access your account?", it says "Redirecting you back to the application. This may take a few moments" and logout in thingtweet. How to fix this issue?

ThingTweet is no longer operational as a result of X / Twitter API v1.1 deprecation.

Don't you think it should be removed from the option then? I wasted a lot of time trying different things in the last couple of days.
