- Check for Conflicts: Ensure that the Ctrl+D shortcut is not being used by another application or system process that might be intercepting the keystroke before MATLAB does.
- Reset Preferences: Sometimes, MATLAB preferences can become corrupted. You can try resetting MATLAB preferences to their default settings.
- Keyboard Layout: Check if the keyboard layout has been changed accidentally. Ensure that you are using the correct layout that matches your physical keyboard.
- MATLAB Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider contacting MathWorks support for assistance. There might be a specific bug or issue with your MATLAB installation that they can help address. See here: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html

For about two weeks now, the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+d to init the model no longer works. . All other keyboard short cuts (like Ctrl+S, Ctrl+B) work fine. I have checked the matlab preferences and tried to change to an other Keyboard short cut combination. But no success.

Seems like a bug to me. Did you update your version? And if you did try contacting the Mathworks Support Team to resolve the issue. For me it works in r2023b version.
