From Video device cannot capture the image.

I am using the integrated webcam of my laptop to some image processing in Simulink. However, I have some problems to get the video. The block "To Video display" always displays a blackscreen.

The addon "Image Acquisition Toolbox Support Package for OS generic Video Interface" is installed as well. When I open the block of "From Video device", the webcam can be found.

However, by running the model, I get a black screen as follows. When I want to stop the simulation, the button "stop" in Simulink does not work. I have to use "cltr+c" in command window to stop it.

I used the block and it works as expected in my machine. It may be the configuration issue of your machine, or you may need further troubleshooting.

1. First, what do you see when you click "Preview" button in "From Video Device" block properties?

Many thanks. It helps a lot. I have solved the problem. Webex is using the vdieo in the background. After killing the webex process, I have the video.
