Can you Install MATLAB 2021b on Windows Server 22 OS?

I have the system requirements for 2021b, it lists Windows Server 2016 and 2019. Will Windows Server 2022 be backwards compatable?

Hi George,

It is recommended to utilize the well-established and thoroughly tested versions of the software. MATLAB versions are usually tested before release for older Windows server versions, and hence the behaviour with untested server versions could lead to unexpected behaviour and disruption of normal workflows with MATLAB. It would be better if you go ahead with a newer release of MATLAB that supports Windows Server 22.
