Hi Luca,

I understand that you are facing an issue in App Designer where the components get re-arranged when the app is reopened. I assume that you are using MATLAB R2019a or later.

If there are objects in your layout that either touch or interfere with other objects or toolbars in your application, that may cause app designer to reorder the objects in a different layout. There are two ways that may help you to resolve this issue:

1. Make sure that no objects or toolbars touch the boundary of your app. You can do this by rearranging or resizing the objects in the layout.
2. You may consider deleting or commenting out the call to “movegui” subroutine in the startup function. This subroutine is responsible for relocating the application view on the screen when the app screen is not maximised.
